It may be of a lion on a tree or an African Fish Eagle eyeing its prey or even a lone beautiful flower out in the savanna.

Nothing is too great or small. Wildlife photography and traditional safaris don’t often mix mainly because of pace each move. As a photographer no matter you are a beginner or professional, it’s always frustrating when your guide, or the people on your safari vehicle, are uninterested in subjects that you would like to photograph. If you enjoy wildlife photography, please choose this special package as we will have all the tools needed for a productive Photographic safari which are the appropriate programs, customized vehicles, knowledgeable personnel and passionate travel mates.

    Hotels, Tea Houses and Camps

    Arusha Coffee Lodge

Lying on the gently rolling foothills that cascade down from the ever-present Mount Meru is the bustling and vibrant town of Arusha. It is here on the outskirts of this town, hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, that you will find Arusha Coffee Lodge, a perfect haven for relaxation either before or after any East African safari.

    Lake Manyara Tree Lodge

Lake Manyara Tree Lodge melts into the natural beauty of its breathtaking surroundings. Nine stilted treehouse suites, crafted from local timber and makuti palm fronds, weave a sophisticated blend of intimacy and romance, offering privacy and exclusivity in the cool, leafy surroundings, with elephant visitors passing through.

Most people think that the famous tree-climbing lions here have developed their climbing habit to get away from annoying insects. At &BEYOND, we have our own theory – they’re in awe of our magnificent treehouse suites.

Designed to exert minimal impact on the environment and provide a tranquil haven, the Lodge offers an exclusive interpretive safari in a more remote area of the National Park. Gentle Tanzanian hospitality is exuded from the team, who have a passion for delighting guests, whether you are on honeymoon or a family safari.

The ultimate spot to rejuvenate mind, body and soul, wellness is a pivotal thread at the Lodge and the lush forest environment is an idyllic cocoon to recharge. Holistically centred, enjoy healing therapies, organic practices and connecting with nature. Dine on nourishing dishes with our food-to-table philosophy, sip the freshest juices and smoothies. Work out in your room with our convenient Gym in a Basket and unwind with a massage in the massage sala.

Overlooking a forest boma, or outdoor dining area lined with traditional dugout canoes, guest areas are characterized by soaring spaces that house local artworks and tactile fabrics. An interactive kitchen allows guests to observe, or help with, the preparation of delectable menus that are served in the theatrical boma or on the open dining decks. Relax at the sparkling pool in the heat of the afternoon or spend time with the Maasai running through local communities.

    Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

Between the natural riches of the Crater spread out at its feet and the incredible architecture, it’s easy to believe that you have entered a realm of pure fantasy. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth. Endangered black rhino are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephant wander the forests, male lion stalk the grasslands and flamingo crowd the soda lakes. Nowhere else on earth can you wake up among all the trappings of an elegant baroque châteaux that transports you into one of the most famous African landscapes. An eclectic blend of teak panelling, Victorian furnishings and whimsical African touches creates a sumptuous atmosphere that is as elegant and unique as the Crater itself. In this place of dramatic contrasts, anything is possible and the natural luxury of the beautiful setting ensures the dramatic interior of your suite blends perfectly with its stilted thatch architecture. Divided into three camps, 30 suites with banana leaf ceilings and grass roofs provide an intimate and exclusive experience. Each camp has its own sitting and dining areas, with private butlers who provide warm, personal service.

    Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp

Tall evergreen trees provide shade for the Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp which stands before an oxbow lagoon of the Grumeti River – famed for housing one of the most renowned fording points of the Great Migration. Standing in the remote Western Corridor of the Greater Serengeti Ecosystem, Grumeti offers rustic yet sophisticated living in one of the most secluded parts of this famous African reserve.

Wake to the sights and sounds of hippo wallowing in the tranquil waters of the lagoon right on your doorstep. The camp is perfectly positioned to witness the intense spectacle of the most exciting part of the Great Migration when massive herds of wildebeest, gazelle and zebra scramble across the Grumeti River where fierce crocodiles lie in wait. Beyond the Migration, exceptional resident game, including the Big 5, can be observed year-round.

The 10 spacious yet intimate safari Tents all have sliding doors which open on to large viewing decks overlooking the hippo-laden lagoon. Meals are relished either in a traditional boma under the stars or on the extensive deck which looks out onto the river.
