This tour includes 6 days of an authentic expedition crossing Kenya and Tanzania – the iconic Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. This tour starts in Nairobi and ends in Arusha and can be tailor-made. Depending on the Great Migration location, we can concentrate the tour in Mara or in Serengeti.
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning drive to Masai Mara. The drive will be 5 hours to the main gate. You will pass through the Great African Rift Valley and the famous Masai town Narok Town. You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in at Mara base camp and have lunch. Later afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at Mara Base Game Camp.
Early morning game drive and return back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast full day spent in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river. Meals and overnight at Mara Base Game Camp.
Early morning breakfast at your camp and check out with packed lunch from your camp and drive to border Isebania Tanzania-Kenya border. The drive will be 3 and half hours to the border, arriving at around 10:40am. At the border, processing of Visa and crossing to Tanzania will take about 45 minutes, and afterwards proceed to Serengeti. The drive will be 3 hours to the main gate. You will be with our Tanzania driver guide, arriving in Serengeti with game en-route drive to your camp. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Osinon Tented Camp.
Early morning breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast check out with packed lunch for a full day game. Serengeti is without a doubt the finest National Park in the whole of Tanzania. All year round large herds of buffaloes, smaller herds of elephant plus giraffes, in addition to millions of antelopes including elands, topi, impalas, kongoni as well as the Grant’s gazelles. If you are lucky you will easily see the 3 big cats. Lions can as well be seen often enjoying a kill or resting. Also, in the southeastern plains, you will be able to regularly see Cheetahs if you are lucky, whereas leopards may be seen resting in the giant trees on the banks of River, after game drive later dinner and overnight at Serengeti Osinon Tented Camp
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast proceed to Ngoro Ngoro. The drive will be 4 hours to the main gate. Ngorongoro Crater is a huge volcanic caldera that hosts a great impressive ecosystem ideal for the survival and preservation of a large diversity of animals, ranging from the lions to the uncommon horned large rhinos. The crater itself is 600m deep to the bottom while the crater floor, is 20km in diameter filled with a diversity of wildlife, ponds plus pools. Ngorongoro Crater is a world heritage site and is commonly referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. After your game drive, dinner and overnight at Bougainvillea Lodge Lodge.
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Ngoro Ngoro to Kilimanjaro International Airport. The drive will be 4 hours to the airport arriving at around 2pm drop off to your hotel or to the Airport.

Set in the midst of an incredible scenery of savannah and skies, you find Ikoma Tented Camp, sheltered in a grove of acacia trees. Ikoma has 35 traditional Meru tents, each under thatch with a private veranda overlooking the impressive plains of the Serengeti. The central restaurant and bar area boast a large camp fire – an ideal spot to unwind with a chilled drink after a long days of exciting game viewing. Ikoma Tented Camp is ideally situated at the border of the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, along the path of the migrating wildebeests between Kenya and Tanzania.
From Ikoma you can enter the western corridor of the park, taking in Kirawira and the Grumeti river – home to the giant wildebeest-eating crocodiles. There is no better place to enjoy one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles. Staying at Ikoma Tented Camp gives you the unique opportunity to enjoy a night game drive or a walking safari, as the camp is located just outside the national park boundary. A great chance to see and hear some of the nocturnal animals that can’t be spotted in daytime, such as the Leopard, Aardvark and the Bat-eared fox.
For travelers looking for something intimate, stylish and authentic, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge is not the right place. However, it has a great feeling of space, the staff are very friendly and the views are magnificent. The lodge has quick access down to the Crater floor and it is great for families with younger children who would make the most of the pool, as well as for those travelling on a bit of a luxury.
