19 Days Turaco Kenya Birding Safari Package is one of the best Kenya wildlife and Bird Watching Safaris. 19 Days Turaco Kenya Birding Safari Package takes us to top destinations and wide variety of bird and wildlife species. Kenya has a unique and diverse array of habitat types, ranging from the snow-capped mountains at about 5000 meters above sea level, tropical lowlands, highland forests, vast savannas, and rolling plains and grasslands to the coastal dry forests and the shores of the Indian Ocean.

Kenya has one of the richest avifaunas in Africa with around 1090 bird species recorded. At least eight of these are national endemics. Around 170 species of Kenya’s birds species are Palearctic migrants (11 species of them with a local breeding population too), mainly from eastern Europe, Russia, the middle East and Siberia. Another 60 species migrate regularly within the Afro tropics or from Madagascar. Some 335 species are found in forest; 230 species are entirely forest dependent.

With over 1,100 recorded species, Kenya is one of Africa’s best birding destinations. In Africa, this number of species is only exceeded by the much larger and inaccessible Democratic Republic of Congo. A fair number of endemic and near-endemic species can easily be seen on any birding trip. These birds are especially sought-after as they only occur within the country or marginally beyond. The European migrants are present from September to April.

Our Kenya Bird watching safaris tours are designed to offer you the best of bird watching in Kenya. Enjoy our Kenya Bird watching safaris tours during our Best of Kenya birding tour while seeing an awesome variety of birds and an amazing variety of mammals. Book our 19 days Kenya birding safari to discover the best habitats for bird watching in Kenya. Our birding tour will give you a great opportunity to explore a region part of Kenya that is neglected yet is an ornithological paradise that hosts some endemic birds among other birds.
